Dhiraj Ratan’s scriptwork is nasty, and his screenplay is amateurish. Rajeev Ravi’s cinematography is commendable.
The only thing that favours Haal-E-Dil is its music that has been composed by four directors. Phew! A single Anu Malik could have done better what four rhythm thinkers could not do.
Coming to the newbie actors; all three of them do not meet the look of the characters portrayed by them. Amita Pathak needs to cut her flabs while Nakuul Mehta needs to work on stick-like physique. A sense of styling can make up for Ahdyayan Suman.
Actingwise, there aren’t many woes as Nakuul Mehta starts off as a confident actor, Amita Pathak as an efficient talent and Adhyayan Suman as a boy to watch out for in the future.
On the whole, it is not the right time for a film like Haal-E-Dil to release especially when the viewers are not in a mood to spare anything that does not give them the full value for their money.
