Qurbani remake is back on, but without Saif
The remake of 80’s classic hit Qurbani has been on the shelves for a long time, as director Feroz Khan is much ill… but now Sanjay Gupta has offered to make the film.
Everyone is already well aware that Gupta is a fan of Feroz Khan’s movies and would do anything to help the legend out… and now he has decided that he will jointly work with Feroz to make the film.
Fardeen Khan is already up for the role that his father did in the original, while Saif Ali Khan might not now have the dates his role… which would of Vinod Khanna’s. Gupta wants to get the project of the ground a.s.a.p and has suggested a name as Saif’s replacement… Vinod Khanna’s son Akshaye Khanna. Mallika Sherawat is more than willing to do the Aap Jaisa Koi Zeenat Aman routine for the film.
Most of the original songs, composed by Kalyanji-Anandji and Biddu will be used but updated for the modern era.
