Akshay and Kareena in Jab We Met director’s next
After the super duper success of Jab We Met, a lot had been written as to what project director Imtiaz Ali would next work on for Ashtavinayak Cinevision. Now it has been confirmed… read on.
Imtiaz has signed up Akshay Kumar for a humour filled romantic flick, similar to Jab We Met. The script of this film is still being written but Akshay is willing to put his name to it, because of Imtiaz’s track record. A source says, “Kareena Kapoor also has a three-film contract with Ashtavinayak. Bebo is already doing their next, Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Returns — the sequel to the 2006 comic caper Golmaal. She will feature with Akshay in the Imtiaz Ali film as well.”
This particular project will begin shooting from early 2009. Right now Imtiaz is in London shooting with Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone for a film that is being produced by Saif also.
