Stallone agrees to star in Bollywood action film
Hollywood action hero Sylvester Stallone has agreed to star alongside Bollywood supremo Akshay Kumar, it has been confirmed.
Stallone of Rocky and Rambo fame will feature as a guest character in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambakkht Ishq, playing himself. “Akshay plays a Hollywood stuntman and Stallone plays himself,” said a source.
According to the source, Stallone was impressed my Sajid’s portfolio of work and signed up for the role immediately. Sajid has also confirmed this blockbuster signing, saying, “Yes, I have signed Sylvester Stallone. Since Kambakkht Ishq is based in Hollywood, it made sense to cast mainstream American stars in it. This film is one of my most ambitious ventures and I didn’t want to leave any stone unturned.”
The film will be directed by Sabir Khan while hot bombshell Kareena Kapoor will play the female lead.
