Of late, Hollywood has been eyeing India as a lucrative area for investments in the production and marketing of films. The big banner production house of Warner Bros. will soon make an entry into the Indian film industry with big-budget deals with the saleable stars in Bollywood.
Salman Khan seems to be a favourite of the Warner Bros. They are already planning to strike a contract deal with the actor for a three-film deal which may worth around 25 lacks. Though nothing has been confirmed from the actor’s side. “We would not like to comment on the subject at this stage,” said Vikas Kapoor, Salman’s secretary.
Meanwhile, even the production giants are tight-lipped about it. Sanjay Narayanan, marketing manager of Warner Bros, said, “Nothing is confirmed. I’m not in a position to comment on it.” Blaze Fernandes, chief of Warner Bros said, “I’ve not come across any such news so far. To check out anything, you have the prerogative of contacting our Los Angeles office. We can’t give you any details.”
Other than Salman Khan, there are rumours of a similar deal being planned with Akshay Kumar as well.
