Akshaye Khanna attacks a microphone
Bollywood star Akshaye Khanna vented his frustrations on a microphone during a press meet for Mere Baap Pehle Aap, Indian newspapers report.
An eye witness to the incident reveals, “Akshaye was at the producer’s office to give interviews related to his forthcoming film Meer Baap Pehle Aap. Everything was fine till a journalist from a news channel asked him if the reports about him being an alcoholic were true. The otherwise coolheaded Akshaye just lost his temper and flung out the mike, resulting in breaking of one of the lights. Not just that, he also pushed the reporter and got up from his seat and walked out. As a result, all the scheduled interviews had to be cancelled. The reporter and the rest of the media present there were shocked at Akshaye’s behaviour and were heard complaining.”
Mansi Maroo, the producer of the film, denied the incident and said, “Akshaye did not get into a fight with anyone. He left early as he had to leave for another interview. A series of interviews were lined up for him and that’s it.”
