Filmmaker Ravi Chopra will shortly change the title of his forthcoming film Pappu Paas Ho Gaya.

The reason given is that a film titled Aur Pappu Paas Ho Gaya has already been made. Chopra’s film, which was earlier going to be directed by a director outside the Chopra camp, will now be directed by Ravi Chopra himself. For the first time, Ravi’s favourite star, Amitabh Bachchan, will not be acting in this courtroom drama comedy. The movie will be made under the banner of B R Films and will go on the floors in 2007.

“The title Pappu Paas Ho Gaya is already registered in our name but since another film has already been made with a similar title, Aur Pappu Paas Ho Gaya, there could be some confusion. So I have decided to change the title. The film is being written by Ashok Patole. Amitabh is not a part of this movie, since the movie revolves only around youngsters. I want Amitabh to act in all my movies because he is my inspiration. It will be for the first time in history of B R Films that we will have two films simultaneously on the floors,” says Chopra.
