Only 15 people turn up to watch new release
The first ever Pakistani film to be shown in Kashmir since 40 years has sensationally flopped on its first day.
Highly-acclaimed drama Khuda Kay Liye found few takers in the disputed territory as only 15 people turned up. “It is disappointing. The response continues to be poor even though we get good openings even for an average film,” said Noor Mohammad, manager of Neelam Cinema, which is screening the film.
In contrast, this Shaan starrer has set box office records across the border and gained worldwide critical appraise.
