Producer-director Anil Sharma will revive his production house Movie World, after a gap of two years.
The film to be made by the production house, will star Nana Patekar, Saif Ali Khan and Bobby Deol, and is on the lines of Hollywood blockbuster Road To Perdition. The last movie made under the banner of Movie World was Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo in 2004.
The film, which starred top names like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Divya Khosla, Sandali Sinha, Nagma, Aarti Chhabria, Rajesh Vivek, Vivek Shaq, Danny Denzongpa, Govind Namdeo, Vishwajeet Pradhan and Ashutosh Rana, was a disaster at the box office.
“It’s true that after the completion of Apne, I will produce and direct a film for my home production Movie World. I have not signed any one on yet, but I have finalised the story, which I don’t want to disclose now. As usual, it will be a multi starrer. This film will go on the floors after the completion of Apne, which I am directing,” says Sharma.
Sharma has so far produced only two films, Elaan-E-Jung and Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo, under his banner Movie World.
