EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi (Singer: Rashid Ali) Rating: 8/10
With Abbas Tyrewala’s doubling up as a director and a lyricist, the soundtrack of Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Naa starts off with a runaway hit ‘Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi’. New singer Rashid Ali makes an eventful beginning in Bollywood as he lends a lot of freshness in his tone. Fantastic lyrics, well-poised music and youthful rendition..
Pappu Can’t Dance (Singer: Anupama, Benny Dayal, Blazee, Tanvi, Darshana, Satish Subramanium and Aslam) Rating: 8/10
One can’t associate wordings like Pappu Can’t dance in the songs composed by A R Rahman, but with the Munnabhai writer as the lyricist one cannot but blink at his miraculous sense of humour. The song is about a character called Pappu and includes a lot of funny narrations about the person who can do anything but can’t dance.
Jaane Tu Mera Kya Hai (Aditi) (Singer: Runa Rizvi) Rating: 8/10
Another hit in the album, this album is going bonkers with the variety of music offered by the duo of A R Rahman and Abbas Tyrewala. Singer Runa Rizvi renders her voice for the character Aditi in the film. A simple tune in this world of flaunting music makes Jaane Tu Mera Kya Hai extremely special.
