Adlabs has launched a novel concept, called Baby Bliss, wherein the multiplex chain will hold special screenings of movies for toddlers and their parents.
Baby Bliss, launched on 10 December, 2006, aims at making the film watching experience more enjoyable for parents with kids, by having special shows every Sunday morning. During these shows, screen lights would be dimmed at all times instead of complete darkness in the auditorium. Other facilities like a nappy changing corner, a milk-warming corner and special healthy food options for kids like hot chocolate would also be provided. Young parents can also ask for some toys to keep their children busy during the screening of the film, says a release.
Outlining the concept, Adlabs COO Tushar Dhingra says, “Adlabs Cinemas will screen these movies, both new films and classics, every month. The experience would be sensitive to young parents, with screenings happening only in the mornings.”
Adlabs has earlier launched the ‘Disney Kiddie Time’ concept, wherein children watch screenings of Disney movies and receive special treatment, and are also treated to free Disney memorabilia.
