Uday Chopra to star in further Yash Raj movies
Yash Raj Films have denied the story of Uday Chopra directing the third instalment in the Dhoom saga.
As reported earlier, rumours had surfaced that the young Chopra would debut as director, but a spokesperson from Yash Raj Films denies this. “We at Yash Raj Films would like to place it on record that this information of Uday Chopra directing Dhoom 3 is completely baseless and false. Uday Chopra intends to fully devote his energies to his career as an actor; in particular, some exciting projects that will be releasing next year. He is also looking forward to essaying the character of Ali again in Dhoom 3 as and when YRF embarks on it. As for who will actually be at the helm of Dhoom 3, that is an announcement that must wait for a more opportune time,” said the spokesperson.
So does this statement mean that Uday will be starring in further Yash Raj films…? God help us.
