Americans stop Munna from meeting his daughter
Sanjay Dutt is unable to take his new wife to meet his daughter, because of the Americans.
Dutt was hoping to fly to the States with Manyata, where she would be formally introduced to her step-daughter Trishala. However this could not happen as Sanjay was refused a visa, because of his connections to terrorists. The US has a strict policy regarding people associated with known groups and because of this our Munna Bhai had to go to the Bahamas instead.
Says a source close to Sanjay Dutt, “Sanju’s US visa was rejected by the American Consulate so he couldn’t go to New York to meet his daughter Trishala as he was planning to. He was eagerly awaiting the trip as he and Manyata had bought loads of gifts for Trishala, including diamonds. Trishala had been unhappy over Sanju’s sudden marriage to Maana and was avoiding Maana and Sanju’s calls and messages. It was Maana who told Sanju that they should visit Trishala in New York and make peace with her before shooting in the Bahamas. But last week, when Sanju applied for his US visa, it was rejected.”
There are rumours going around that Sanjay might request his daughter to fly down to the Bahamas and meet her new step-mother there. But this can not be confirmed as Trishala is currently busy studying for a degree in Criminal Justice. Sanjay is in the Bahamas for the shoot of Blue, and is also using the time to holiday with his new wife.
