Money Hai To Honey Hai is the latest production venture of Kumar Mangat and is the second directorial stint of Ganesh Acharya. Ganesh had earlier director Manoj Bajpai starrer Swami but now he has turned to a comedy with actors like Govinda, Aftab Shivdasani and Ravi Kishan.

The plot of Money Hai To Honey Hai revolves around six characters – Bobby, Lalabhai, Gaurav, Manik, Ashima Kapoor and Shruti.
Bobby is living with a zest to prove himself. He has run away from his home to release from the pressures of family taunts.

Lalabhai has fallen from the heights of one crore rupees as his winning lottery could not change his luck from Roadpati to Crorepati. Lalabhai has lost his all his money in a flop business.

Gaurav is a copywriter who has lost his job while Manik is a model trying to make it big by becoming the couch of middle-aged fashion designers. Ashima Kapoor is not content with her successful TV career and hopes to make it big in films as a leading lady.
Last in the bunch of six is Shruti, another dress designer trying to make it big in the gla industry.

Circumstances bring them all together when they receive a SMS one day notifying them that they are owners of a 1000 crore company. Fate takes a turmoil when the lawyer informs them that being the owners they have to pay the outstanding loan of the company which account to 1200 crore.
