Aditya exhausts Yash Raj bank balance for lover Rani
According to Indian newspaper reports, head of Yash Raj Films Aditya Chopra is spending like no tomorrow… when it comes to his girlfriend Rani Mukherjee.
Aditya is already using the production house’s money to fund films that headline Rani, films which are consistently failing at the Box Office, and now he is buying the Bengal babe expensive gifts. Says a source, “Adi appeared extremely impressed by Rani’s performance as a fairy that comes to give love to Saif Ali Khan and his family (in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic) and gifted her the ring. After all, what better gift than to give diamonds — a woman’s best friend?”
There seems to be no stopping… next year will witness Rani feature in 3 more films produced by Aditya Chopra. Your thoughts on this… don’t you think this is a little too much… should Aditya be exhausting the Yash Raj bank balance for his lover… is it now time for him to approach other actresses and use their acting to help resurrect an ailing production banner? before printing such hogwash please do your research. yrf is a private company where each director gets a salary and profit share. no one director (by law) is allowed complete autonomy on the company’s finances. all expenditure has to be approved by the board, which includes yash chopra, and other board members. why is rani constantly being used as the production house scapegoat. tara ram pum may not have set the box office on fire, but it did a lot better than jhoom baraba jhoom. LCMD was not a complete washout as it also did better in the UK and elsewhere than other indian movies. KANK was a great movie and was the 3rd highest grossing movie of 2006 which also won rani an IIFA award for best actress. why is abhishek, preity, saif ali and even kareena not used as scapegoats - reason, rani never allows herself to dragged into the media cesspool by constantly reacting to rubbish. if an actress is loyal to a banner, why should their motives be crucified or questioned. Tom Cruise was loyal to paramount pictures for 10 years - was he sleeping with the boss’s wife to get roles - no. If rani is happy at YRF then i am glad. She portrays roles that other actresses balk at simply because they can never carry it off. the roles offered by other movie studios is not setting the box office on fire. even JA was not the sucess ADLABS thought it would be, compared to OSO and chak de india. is anyone barking up ash & hritiks tree - no. the rani-aditya so called “alliance” is only used by newspapers and media hounds to sell copy. sad that innocent people have to suffer so that media corps can milk money out of the public - so much for modern business tactics.
szm…totally agree…despite the poor runs at the box office, rani’s performance was never criticized. the bottom line is rani can act…
i just think that its all rubbish..so i totally agree wid szm..
seriously, these ppl need to cut rani some slack..and just appreciate her acting, beauty and herself as a person, instead of just doin match makin and poking their nose into ppl’s personal lyf..audience just need to know abt their movies, reviews and all, not abt who they’re datin, n crappy stuff lyk dat!
I think aditya needs to try out some other actresses! Rani can act but so far the latest movies have been a flop… and THAT IS THE TRUTH!!!! Don’t show that it was a hit aher eor there, we are looking at the over all picture and the films lately have not done well at the box office. Aditya needs to move on from Saif and Rani’s jodi and work with someone else and try something new… Runing the YRf BANNER!!!!
A movie flops because the script is flawed. Aaja Nachle flopped because the script was flawed not Madhuri’s performance. Rani is a fine actress capable of delivering hits providing she gets the right roles in good scripts. Problem is that Yashraj Films just have not been able to come up with some good scripts. Hopefully Aditya will deliver in RNBJ a super hit and it is time the king of romance Yash Chopra direct a movie again since Veer Zaara. He always finds something really great and always excels at direction. He brings out the best from his stars and gives the best music.

well, luks like rani fans r here in full force. i dont really like rani but i like her acting. having said that, i think we will know the truth about wats going between rani n adi in the following years. if they marry, then rani is no saint like u all fans r trying to portray her as. marrying adi will prove that all the media rumors r indeed true. however if she doesnt marry adi n marries someone else… (i m assuming she will definitely marry coz she said she likes kids n likes to spend time with family)…then it will prove that media rumors were indeed rumors. if this is the case, then i think i ll have some respect for rani, i just hate ppl who marriages or is partly responsible.

i totally agree with svm…besides if we believe rumors…Rani should have married Aditya in february or sumthin!!!…and before that she would have married Abhishek…and the list go on..lol
