just saw it, heres a quick review.
film starts of very well, 1st hour is delightfull, it focuses on the whole family of amitabh bachan and the love story of salman khan and there marage, the bonding between amitabh and salman and salman and rani is excellent.
after salmans death family gets emotional and therefore loses its pace but its still griping, climax is superb, one of the best climax i have seen in an family drama.
PERFORMANCES
salman khan – he was just excellent, his role is longer then expected and does super init, infact the whole first half is focused on salman khan, his emotional scenes are really strong and does very good in them especially the time he purposes to rani and his scenes with his kid are executed perfectly
amitabh bachan – he was his usual self, just excellent, in some scenes though he could have done better but the film is focused entirely on him.
rani – this will be one of her best performances after black, she has handled her scenes very well here, her emotional scenes will touch your heart
john abraham – not a very long role and hasnt done it perfectly either, his dialogue delivery is terrible. he needs to polish up his acting
hema does good, om puri is excellent, rajpal yadav is ok and sharat saxena does good
overall this film is rich in emotions and is one of the better family dramas made in india, familys should love it.
