Mungi, alongwith his friend Jignesh (Satish Shah) begin their search for a waaris when they remember Angoori (Bhavana Balsawar) who happens to be Mungi’s sister. Years ago, Mungi had detached himself from his sister because she wanted to marry a music teacher.
After a prolonged hunt, Mungi finds a letter where he finds the mention Angoori’s child – Kamal. Mungi appoints detective Johnny English (Satish Kaushik) to look for his lost successor – Kamal.
Johnny English finds a deceptive NRI (Sameer Dattani), who calls himself Kamal. When he takes his find to Bangkok, he is shocked to see another Kamal (Shaad Randhawa) waiting there. Adding to this confusion is Shivani (Aarti Chhabria), who also claims herself to be the real Kamal as no mention of Kamal’s gender is found in the letters.
The plot gets thicker when NRI Kamal’s girlfriend Jiya (Shama Sikander) enters the drama and almost proves that her boyfriend is the real Kamal.
Mungi, on the other hand, has some other plans to track down the real Kamal and that’s when he decides to keep them all in a house. What happens next is nothing but a comical hunt of Kamal?
Shashi Ranjan emerges as a triumphant in the first half where he handles the comic timing, the plot and the performances admirably well. The dialogues are crisp and manage to tickle the funny bones quite often.
The second half is a complete cut-off from what you have witnessed pre-intermission. The boring one-liners and jokes just add on to the boredom slowly till the viewer is completely exhausted.
