Director Ashim Samanta fails to create a funny atmosphere with his crew. Either he is short of vision as a director or he is short of funds. The look of the film relates to a dusty bookshelf.

The movie would have looked more appealing had it was released twenty years back. Harish Joshi’s cinematography is tacky and the editing can make any viewer furious, reason being the unappropriate cuts and inclusions in the film.

Musicwise, Anu Malik has broken most of the records after giving innumerable hits in Bollywood but the composer has lost it completely in the case of Don Muthuswami. The songs are a complete turn-off.
