Comeback kid Govinda to sing for next flick
Govinda’s new found resurgence in Bollywood will now see him go back in the world of singing too, it has been reported.
Last year’s Partner helped Govinda make it back in to the big league of Bollywood acting, and now we will get to hear him croon once more… after a gap of 9 years. In 1999, Govinda released an album where he sang all the songs. Now he is to do the same, albeit not on such a grand scale.
The actor reveals, “Yes, I have sung a number for Loot. I am singing after a gap of nine years and I was attracted to this particular number because of its lyrical content. It has a nice, musical blend to it. Shamir Tandon has scored the music. The words for the song are ‘Jaako rakhe saiyaan maar sake na koi…’ and it was great singing it, as it has a spiritual feel to it.”
