Forget the blog. Aamir Khan, it seeems, wants to take his rivalry with Shah Rukh Khan further. He has decided to push forward the release of his next film, Ghajini, by two months.
Yes, the Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster was to have an October 2 release. But now it will be released in the Christmas week.
Reason: Aditya Chopra who’s making his comeback after a hiatus of eight years with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, is has scheduled its release for the year end too.
The Yash Raj production features Shah Rukh and newcomer Anoushka Sharma. The Chopras had announced the release date much before the movie was launched. Break ho jaaye According to a source, Aamir has put the brakes on Ghajini, and is now concentrating on his nephew Imran Khan’s debut film, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. This film co-staring Genelia D’Souza, is headed for a clash with Harman Baweja’s Love Story 2050 on July 4. It will be followed by Sanjay Gadhvi’s Kidnap, also toplining Imran.
Aamir has been accidentprone of late and suffered a few injuries while performing the dangerous action sequences for Ghajini. Probably, that’s why he’s chosen to take a short break.
“Knowing how involved Aamir is with every department of film-making, it will be difficult for the director, AR Murugadoss, to complete the film on his own and keep it to the October 2 deadline,” informs the source.
Ghajini took time to take off because Aamir was completely focussed on his directorial debut Taare Zameen Par last year.

Another lost battle to King Khan. what is aamir thinking? to take on the best actor SRK, the best production yash&raj and the best director Aditya chopra. the only thing that is speaking for aamirs ghajni is, it is already a tested movie in tamil and it was a blockbuster and aamir announcing that he will not make any change in the hindi version. it will be a big war. if the rumours about srk co-producing the movie is true then i feel sorry for aamir cause one of the strongest thing srk is superior is, he knows how to bring in money. we have seen salman vs srk, salman vs aamir but this will be the first time we will see aamir vs srk.

This is not the first time that Aamir and SRK’s movies are releasing on the same date. Earlier Aamir’s “Akele Hum Akele Tum” released on the same day when SRK’s “Ram Jaane” released. Well that time, both were unlucky as both the movies failed at the box office
Apparently Aamir had always gone through such situations as earlier his Dil clashed with Ghayal, Lagaan with Sunny Deol’s Gaddar and his recently released Taare Zameen Par clashed with Welcome. He has been lucky all the time.
But I think this time, the clash will definitely cut into each other’s business. SRK and Aditya Chopra combination has a edge over Aamir khan’s Ghajni in the overseas market.
