Who says that only senior actors are approached to host TV shows? A leading TV channel had approached Ranbir Kapoor to host a chat show and also offered him big bucks for the assignment. However, Rishi and Neetu’s son chose to concentrate on films only.
A source from the TV industry says, “The concept of the show was a very peppy one and hence a young host was required. Moreover, the producers were keen that they needed a big star and Ranbir fitted the bill.”
“Rishi did gave the idea some thought for a few days before beta Ranbir declined the offer. The money was really tempting. However, it’s too early for Ranbir to jump into television,” adds the source
