Its fashion carnival season at Karachi in the neighbouring land of Pakistan. The annual Lux carnival had a special flavour this year as some of the top Bollywood stars scorched the ramp flanking work of many prominent Indian fashion designers.
A usually lukewarm affair got heated up as carnival witnessed the hot bods of Bollywood like Urmila Matondkar, Shilpa Shetty, Milind Soman and Dino Morea walking the ramp, modelling the outfits of many Indian designers. Some of the prominent names were that of Manish Malhotra (so you see as to why Urmila is there?) and Tarun Tahiliani. Pakistan’s own fashion tycoon Rizwan Beyg displayed some of his best works at the annual Lux Carnival de Couture in Karachi.
And the pretty Bollywood beauties spoke endlessly about the brotherhood prospects and harmony the carnival can spark between the two neighbouring countries. Now where did we hear that before? Anyways, overall a nice show of talent from across the borders.
