Priyanka Chopra pays for Harman’s shortcomings
According to Indian newspaper reports, hot-bod Priyanka Chopra had to fork out over Rs. 1 lakh after her boyfriend ran out of money.
The incident happened on the night Priyanka returned from Miami, where she was shooting for Karan Johar’s Dostana. Her beau Harman Baweja treated her to a slap up meal at a 5-star restaurant, unfortunately when it came to settle the bill… the poor bloke didn’t have the cash.
Apparently, he gave the waiter his card which got declined as there were insufficient funds. The waiter then returned the card and asked for payment by other means. It was then when Priyanka stepped in and used her card to pay the Rs. 1 lakh.
When Harman was asked about this incident, he angrily said, “I have never had such bad service ever in my life. I am going to think twice before going back there. The bill was not a lakh! It was only two of us and both of us don’t eat so much that our bill runs up to one lakh!”
And we thought this was a love story that would span the next 50 years…
