Upen Patel has finally arrived! After making a hot debut in his first movie 36 China Town, the handsome hunk is surely on his way to greater heights. Upen won hearts and the award for best debut Male at the Global Indian Film Festival in Kuala Lumpur.
Upen Patel scaled the ladder of instant popularity after his much-appreciated dance number in 36 China Town’s Ashiqui mein teri song. He was then hailed as the new star in the making. And now, after winning an award on a global stage, the model-turned-actor seems to be excited and happy. “I feel I am on top of the world. It feels great especially when you are an outsider to the industry. Winning is special when you have no Godfather in the industry and you are trying to make your mark. I really cherish this award,” said Upen.
Upen Patel’s much-anticipated next release is Namaste London opposite Katrina Kaif.
