Popular Indian actress Esha Deol is to play the character of Sania Mirza in a sports related film produced by Deepak R Gandhi.
The film is inspired by the life of Tennis sensation Sania but will not necessarily be about her. According to the producer the film will relate to anyone who has a dream and goal in life.
“We are definitely not drawing up any biographical inspiration. However, there might be some character traits similar to Ms Mirza. It’s a mix of fiction and reality,” says a source from the production team.
