Karan Johar sets Kajol deadline for Khan
Top filmmaker Karan Johar has given actress Kajol a deadline by which he wants a decision from her.
Kajol is holding up pre-production work on Karan Johar’s next flick My Name Is Khan, as she has yet to sign on the dotted line. Kajol has given numerous interviews in which she has stated that she will only agree to star in the film once she reads the final script. However, Karan has said that his script is complete and Kajol has seen and ‘admired’ it.
Sources say that Kajol might be delaying signing up for the role opposite actor Shah Rukh Khan because she is waiting on her husband Ajay Devgan. Ajay is expected to launch another film, which he will direct after the success of U Me Aur Hum and have Kajol headline it, and might start shooting it around the same time as Karan’s My Name Is Khan. If this was to be, then Kajol wouldn’t be able to work on two films at the same time.
Karan has now caught up on this delaying tactic and has demanded a decision from Kajol. If Kajol decides not to do the film then Karan might approach Kareena Kapoor, as his second and third favourites (Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta) are all tied up with other work.

Well done Karan!!! For once u have used ur brains. I really can’t understand y u go behind this woman so much as if there aren’t other good actresses in Bollywood. I know she is a great actress, even she used to be my favoriate. But not anymore… She thinks no end of herself after the marriage. As if she has got married to a Prince!!! Atleast now pls start approaching other actresses for ur films Karan. U make great films, SRK is more than enough to attract the audiance. U don’t need Kajol’s support. Y don’t think of casting SRK & Ash for once. Maybe not for this film but pls do think of it next time.

Well sai, Sham. In OM SHANTI OM there was no Kajol, but the film did historically well, and it has completed its more than silver jubily weeks as well, and still running… So, thats it….More than a year Poor Karan has been begging her and her father has died now, may his soul rest in peace!…. but Karan has been asking since long….and every time she turns down, oh, when I like the script, it means she is showing her importance…. and throwing tantrums…
And yet she hasn’t read the script yet, while people have got some idea what the film’s theme idea…well, we wish Karan & SHAH RUKH KHAN best of the best in a sense it should be a huge hit a lot more than OM SHANTI OM….because they both are 50..50…partners..
DON’T MAKE THE FILM UNLESS KAJOL SIGNS IT!

I won’t be able to watch the film with the same feeling if someone else (Rani / Kareena) plays the role of which Kajol is SUPPOSED to!
