Eros buy Hrithik Roshan film for record amount
Rakesh Roshan has created history by selling the rights to his forthcoming flick Kites for Rs. 120 crore.
According to a source, “Rakesh Roshan is ecstatic. He has managed to sell Kites even before it hits the floors. The amount is the highest-ever a movie has got till date. The price has been pushed up because Hrithik has no other film lined up for release until Kites releases early next year.
Previous to this, the highest amount paid for a film was Rs 75 crore for Om Shanti Om by Eros International. Eros International are rumoured to be behind this deal also.
