Bipasha has immense respect for the Bachchan family
Bipasha Basu has finally gone on record to clear the rumours about her tiff with the Bachchan family.
As we reported last month, Bipasha refused to go on the Bachchan’s World Tour because she wanted more money, and due to this a lot was written in the media about the Bachchans being angry with her.
Recently, when a reported asked her about this, she responded by saying, “I don’t understand why there was a controversy about me and the Bachchan tour. I was in Capri enjoying my shooting and my manager did not want to trouble me with all the news that was floating around about the Bachchans being angry with me. It just snowballed into a controversy, like everything else in our industry. Let me clear the air. I am not a part of the world tour with the Bachchans, but there is nothing wrong with that. I have great respect for the Bachchan family. I think it is going to be a great show but unfortunately, I am not a part of it.”
Bipasha was the second female artist to refuse to go on tour with the Bachchans. Prior to her, Lara Dutta also backed out… citing injury and personal reasons for it.
