All 5 members of the Bachchan clan will start blogging once the official family website goes active.
Amitabh Bachchan is expected to move his current blogging to the new site, while his wife will also join him. Jaya is expected too blog about politics, as that is her area of speciality. Son Abhishek Bachchan will also provide his thoughts on a daily basis as he is much more in tune with the youth audience.
Aishwarya Rai will also be a part of this website but is not expected to blog. Instead, she will provide inputs on a regular basis in regards to international issues. Finally, daughter Shweta will provide insights on fashion and make-up.
What are your thoughts on this expansion of Bachchan blogging… is it not a little overkill?
Finally! This is the right way for the Bachchans to be in touch with the general public. Media has been picking this charming and intelligent family to pieces for nothing. Now they have a way to lay their side of the story in their own words in front of the public. Good going, Bachchans, and a very smart move! I hope that those who read their blogs can register and be able to comment. However the site will have to be moderated to weed out those who may try to post obscene remarks.
Just having a blog to read their side of day to day activities without being able to respond does not appeal to me.I don’t think that it is overkill. And the new bahu Aish should also contribute through a blog.
