Himesh Reshammiya is to move into a village and mingle with the residents for research purposes.

The musician turned actor is going out all guns to get his character portrayal perfect. He is to play a tapori in John Mathew’s A Love Iiisshtory.

A source close to Himesh reveals that he’s been speaking and rehearsing the tapori dialect for over a month. “It’s a really colourful character. Himesh wants to try and stay as true as possible to his brief. This is the first time he’s playing a tapori and he wanted to make sure he came across as really convincing. Since he’s playing several different roles in his forthcoming projects, Himesh wanted to make sure each one of them stood out from the other. Also Himesh hasn’t really spoken in this kind of dialect before, so getting the pronounciation and the tone of certain words right is very important.”
