An unamed woman has become Indian television’s first ever crorepati, by winning the jackpot on Shah Rukh Khan’s new gameshow Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai?
The woman, who is from Bhubaneshwar, will now go into the record books as being the first female to win a crore in a reality show on Indian television. The episode was shot on Monday and will be telecast on June 11. The woman was accompanied by her brother on the show. The channel is keeping her identity under wraps to avoid being hounded as the telecast date is over a month away.
The winner has also been told to not utter a word — even to her family members and overnight relatives who are eager to know her winning amount.
