Hot television babe Rupali Ganguly (Sanjivani, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Ek Packet Umeed), who is also the daughter of filmmaker Anil Ganguly, has said the she is not publicity hungry and will not make use of casting couches to obtain film roles.
“I did sign as many as 27 films but then, a ‘weird proposal’ (something similar to a casting couch) was put forward to me which totally put me off. I am not glamour struck. Thanks to my father, I have seen big actors from close quarters. If at all I sign a film, the role has to be substantial and has to be offered respectfully,” says the sexy starlet.
Rupali believes that television is a far more challenging medium than the world of movies as you have to be at your innovative best at all times.
