Shah Rukh took Amitabh’s leftovers from Star
An Indian newspaper has reported that Shah Rukh Khan was not the first choice for anchoring new game-show ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain?’.
Shah Rukh was only offered the position after fellow Bollywood actor and screen legend Amitabh Bachchan refused it because ‘he did not like the concept’. Says a source, “Bachchan was the first choice for Paanchvi Paas… but after he declined the offer, SRK was approached for it.”
Big B confirmed that Star Plus had come to him with Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? He said, “Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? was discussed with me by Star as one of the possible shows they wanted me to do. We are still talking about what we can do together. We are discussing more ideas and sample shows.”
