After Lage Raho.. all the focus has shifted towards the next offering from Vidhu Chopra and audiences are expecting a winner again. Eklavya is slated to release on 16th Feb, ‘07.
The movie is a dramatic thriller based on the protagonist Eklavya who is the royal guardian of a royal family and that he’s bound to protect the slowly extinguishing royal family and its heritage of Devigarh, Rajasthan. The movie is set in the contmeparay India of today and talks in volumes of the amount of deceit and revenge in the society and how fanaticism leads to mindless voilence and hatred.
The movie’s star-cast boasts of the best in the business in the form of Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan, Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, Jimmy Sheirgill, Raima Sen and Sharmila Tagore.
