TV Queen Ekta attacks Shah Rukh over IPL
Television Queen Ekta Kapoor has attacked Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, by holding him solely responsible for the recent loss of viewership of her serials.
“We will fight it out. But yes, I must say that IPL has done tremendously well. And for this the only person to blame, is Shah Rukh Khan,” said Ekta to an Indian newspaper. “We are definitely badly hit, but we let it pass. We’ve survived even the World Cup.”
Her comments came after released figures showed TV ratings for the six metros in the country being a healthy 8 for the IPL Cricket matches, which are being screened during primetime.
