Sanjay Dutt has commenced work on his pending films in right earnest.

The first film he started work on soon after the verdict in the TADA court against him was Nimbus’ Sarhad Paar, the entire dubbing for which he completed on 8 December 2006 at Dev Anand’s Anand Studios at Pali Hills, Bandra.

Sarhad Paar, which has been in the making for some time now, has been directed by Raman Kumar and stars Sanjay Dutt, Chandrachur Singh, Mahima Chaudhary, Tabu and Rahul Dev in the lead.

“Sanjay Dutt started dubbing from yesterday (7 December) and was dubbing for the full day. He completed the dubbing in two days. I am very thankful to Sanjay because he gave his first available dates to my film and completed the dubbing. Now we are confident that Sarhad Paar will release on 26 January 2007. Sanjay Dutt was not the reason for the delay, but there were other reasons also,” says Nimbus distribution head Rajesh Thadani.
