Yash Chopra seeks advice from Shah Rukh
Yash Chopra has come down with a ton of bricks on his son Aditya Chopra after the Box Office failure of Tashan.
Father Yash is not happy that their power house production company Yash Raj Films is suffering big time and lays the blame on son Aditya alone. Last year saw the house see 4 flops and only a single hit, and 2008 seems to be going the same way.
Tashan was heavily promoted and was expected to be the biggest hit of 2008, but it bombed. With high profile actors, lots of skin show, and an action formula, Yash Raj were hoping to ride on the success of Dhoom 2… but this has not happened.
Yash is so worried about son Aditya’s choice of scripts that he now wants more involvement in their next big production, the Aditya Chopra directed Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. The film, will probably do well as it stars Shah Rukh Khan but there are no guarantees. Therefore, Yash has gone through the script himself and has talked with actor Shah Rukh Khan over the phone to take advice from him.

Yash Chopra needn’t worry about RNBDJ cos it will surely be a super hit!!! Perhaps they should do more films with SRK. Pls get Sonam opposite SRK this time, love 2 c them together on screen.
This is all bogus and stage planned. What idiot company will wait for 4 flop films to take measures on their own production house? They should have learnt with 2007 flops. Hope all your films from here on are complete disasters!!!
Yash Chopra should get back in the driving seat and do what he does best, i.e. make extraordinary movies with great stars like Madhuri, Shahrukh, Rani, etc. but with great scripts to make the movie majic!
ya i agree with the bhajhapuri,he is right,yash is a chmacha director,chamcha actor srk,bakwas filmen,bakwas srk fans.srk ki filmon me hota kya he,wohi boaring subject,end me dosron ki mangeters se shadi ker k chala jata he.saala bakri kahin ka.

I think Yash Chopra need to take things in full control back and look through every script well and make sure that it sound good. He has so much experience for than his Aditya so he should not just left things up to his and be like OK Aditya is doing this film I can rock back…He should follow up with Aditya.

SRK would do more films with the Chopra’s family.
And i`m waiting for news of Dhoom 3( possibly directed by Aditya, but how?) And, its true that SRK will do Dhoom 3?
I suggest that they do a Dhoom 3 sequel with SRK this time and other Bollywood actors and join with a Hollywood studio and enter Will Smith and Penelope Cruz and Aishwarya Rai and make the film in English and release it at a Red Carpet Premiere in NY in Oct 2008
Tashan failed because the beginning made no sense whatsoever and Anil Kapoor who has been praised I found his character so irritating.
The movie had many flaws.

NO Shahrukh is not doing Dhoom 3
I was so hoping that he would do it but in more than one his interviews he said that he is not doing Dhoom 3….how sad is that
I really wish yash chopra would ask him again and he would go back on his words and do the movie.
and yes Nazar…shahrukh and will smith would be so cool in a movie….I just don’t know where is the hollywood filmmakers EYES
I don’t think its fair to say that Yashji is taking the reigns of YRF back from Aditya. So Tashan bombed at the box office. What did you expect after Race? The two films have similarities in terms of their genre (action, skin show, etc.). Anyway, I hope for YRF’s sake that the other films that are slated to release do better business as opposed to resting all hope on RNBDJ (personally, I’m not looking forward to the film due to its plot line - 40 year old man falls in love with a 16 year old girl - for they may as well be father and daughter with such a huge age gap). I see another Nishabd in the making and in that case it’ll bomb too. Unless there is some saving grace to the film. I’m sure Aditya will think of something. He did give us DDLJ, Mohabaatein & Veer-Zaara (he wrote the script) after all. I’m sure he’s cooking up something with regards to RNBDJ too. Best of luck dude!
Guys! Taking advice from King khan is a good act. whenever we’re in trouble ,we take advice from our freinds n people who are close to us. SRK is kind person, i’m sure like last year , he will take yashrajfilms out of this trouble time as well. N take my words RNBDJ is gonna be the Biggest hit of 2008. Srk rocks n will rock!

Yash Chopra thought a bit in a wrong way with his mind. Because his son Aditya do nothing bad as film director - he rocks and has done a very good job, with his skills as film director. Only a lot of bad Energy flow around his Film Production house. Soon all will be ok again - just he must believe … And he don`t need SR for his film as good sign … He better take Abhishek Bachchan & Priyanka Chopra it is a secret tip from me - and the film would be a big hit….
