Salman wants ten more than Akshay Kumar
Salman Khan has told production house Studio 8 for an extra Rs 10 crore, so that he can get one up against fellow actor Akshay Kumar.
Salman has been approached by the studio for a film, but they only offered him Rs 40 crore, which is 10 less then what Akshay Kumar is getting from the same studio for an Aneez Bazmee film.
According to a source for an Indian daily, “Studio 18, the name behind films like Welcome and Jab We Met, approached Salman for one of their films last week. The actor met the officials from the company. They told him that they were planning a commercial movie and thought that he’d be perfect for it. Sallu shocked them when he asked them to sign the biggest commercial actor around — Akshay Kumar —for their film.”
The officials told Sallu that they had already signed Akki for another project due to roll next year. Sallu then asked them how they had managed to get Akshay to do the film — as he was extremely busy. They replied that Akki was signed for Rs 40 crore. Salman reacted by telling them that ‘If Akshay is getting 40 crore for your film, I am not going to do it for anything less than 50 crore’.”
