Why was Shahid absent from Zee Awards
A lot has been talked about on why Shahid Kapur was not present at the Zee Cine Awards over the weekend in London.
Apparently, Shahid has suffered an injury is currently bed-resting in India. It happened during a shoot for a forthcoming film and his doctors have advised him to take time in recuperating. While he is doing this, many of his planned shooting schedules have gone haywire.
The Zee event had used images of Shahid to promote the event, and many people attended the event just to see if they could get a glimpse of Shahid with ex-lover Kareena Kapoor. This was not to happen.

Shahid Kapur was spotted at the rehersals for the show night before the BIG EVENT…i wonder if he flew back that night. Seemed quite fresh and healthy. However SAIFU’s influence with the Pradeep GUHA and Morani brothers may be the reason behind his disappearance and not just BAD HEALTH which is quite an old school reason for not attending.
I was at the show and failed to understand why the organisers did not give a reason for Shahid’s absense??!!

I am so sad Shahid was not there, there were so many cheers for him. Just at the mention of his name fans were going crazy, it was very sad him not being there. There was a big hole due to his absence. Wonder what happened! Zee awards are too political with big stars having huge influence on organiser, who knows what happened.
Hope Shahid is feeling better and his back injury is OK.
whatever his reasons , im sure it had nothing to do with saif! LOL! people and their crazy ideas!!! they were all at the filmfare awards and they survived.
I was in London only to see his Performance! But now I´m very disappointed! No he wasn´t there the night before! Where have you got this news?

hey ‘r’, they were not together at Filmfare, Shahid was not present at Filmfare.
The only place they were together was at Max Stardust awards and man, how much the cameras pointed at Shahid and made him extremely uncomfortable. And everyone spoke ‘how sad Shahid looked etc etc’.for days. He was made to feel quite uncomfortable.
Well, anyway who knows what happened but the organisers should have given some sort of explanation as lots of people had spent a lot of money to catch a glimpse of Shahid!
