The second Global Indian Film Awards kick-started in grandeur with the screening of B.R. Films’ star-studded Baabul in Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysian fans gave a thundering welcome to the stars of Baabul at the red carpet outside the Cineplex. The favourites were evident as the gathering busted out in loud cheers at the arrival of Bollywood hunks Salman Khan and John Abraham.
Walking the red carpet with John was the sultry Bipasha Basu, who was cheered by the fans before the star-cast attended the screening. The night’s highlights were Salman and John Abraham. Salman Khan has a huge fan following in Malaysia and was the main attraction at the event.
Baabul’s screening marks the beginning of the three-day event of GIFA in the Malaysian capital. The awards’ show is expected to be attended by 300 glittering stars from the Indian filmdom. SRK, Chotta B, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha and John are among the expected stars at the gala.
