Story, Screenplay, Dialogue and above all Director, what was HE (yes it’s the same person – Vijay Krishna Acharya – directoriual debut) thinking while preparing 80s khichdi in todays fast food generation. The story of small town Chandani Chowk girl, who sees her father being assassinated by one of his own henchman and years later takes her revenge. Believe Me, Tashan is total Carp with all style and no substance from YRF (They should have changed their production house WTF ! – after dud Ta Ra Rum Pum, Jhoom Barabaar Jhoom, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Aaja Nachle )
Imagine !
Hero and his team amidst surrounded by more than 40 goons, each whom aiming the hero’s team with AK 47’s. Suddenly, firing starts but Hero and his team’s scatters, despite hundreds of bullets hits their surroundings but none of the bullet touches Hero or his mates. Did you say HOW ?
Because, Hero was clever enough to do stunts like monkey, jumping from one roof to another. What about his mates?
Well, they were just lucky enough I had to say. Not just once, but thrice!
Well, this would have thrilled me when I was 8 years old and Mithun Da used to fly and kick those bad ass. My heart used to pound, when those goons used to take shot at him. How realistically he used to get alive from the midst of bullets. But those were 80s and I was just eight!
How can … think, all his audiences are still eight and its still 80s?
