Akshay is a superstar, and was one without the help of Yash Raj Films, and now that Akshay has the attention of Warner Brothers ( Candni Chawk to China) this is no major loss to him.

Yash Raj Films are the ones being arrogant here in my opinion. Ok they have produced a few good movies… but now that Hollywood is moving in on Bollywood Yash Raj shouls be very carefull about which actors they get on the bad side of as they are by no means the kings of Bollywood.
In my opinion, No one does comedy better than Akshay at this present time, and SRK’s performances are becoming more and more overated as the days go by.

SRK is Yash Raj’s saviour at the moment, but Akshay has had to reinvent himself several times for his movies and works hard to adapt to different roles, this makes him a much more versitile actor than SRK.
When the public start getting bored from seeing the same thing again and again from Yash Raj and SRK, i have a feeling Akshay will still be winning the public over with his versitility and comedy.

As for Akshay wanting publicity in the advertising for Tashan, Lets face it he is a much bigger star than Saif or Krina combined.
Thats not an insult to Either of them, but never the less it is a fact.
When you have worked that hard to get that big, i don’t think it is unrasonable to ask for it to be recognised.

Yash Raj have lost out here.
