Mahima says she didn’t make a comeback
Former Bollywood beauty Mahima Choudhary has returned to the silver screen in last week’s release Hope and a Little Sugar.
The actress has been praised for her role in the film and is happy that is has been received well, but is not happy of the comeback tag. Talking to an Indian daily, Mahima states, “‘Comeback’ is a very shabby word. I don’t know why this word ‘comeback’ is used so commonly in the industry? Had I gone to some other planet? Haven’t many actresses in the past married, delivered babies and then continued to do films? Hope and a Little Sugar is simply my first film after the birth of my baby Ariana. Ashutosh Rana was there at the premiere. He was quite amused when some people were calling Hope and a Little Sugar my comeback film. When Britney Spears released an album after delivering her children, did anybody call it her ‘comeback’ album? Then why single out Bollywood actresses?”
Mahima hopes to sign further thought-provoking films in the near future but her main purpose in life now has to be her young child. Mahima also hopes to play mother to two other children, if her husband manages to win a custody battle with his ex.
