Arbaaz Khan and his wife Malaika Arora Khan have been branded as liars and cheats by the Indian media after a publicity stunt backfired.
Yesterday, on the front pages of many Indian newspapers and on this website, a story about Malaika Arora splitting up with her husband Arbaaz Khan was featured. The story was sourced from the horses’ mouths, i.e. Arbaaz and Malaika themselves. However, the world now comes to learn that it was all a lie… for nothing more than a few dollars.
According to Mumbai Mirror, both husband and wife had been contracted by a cosmetics company to launch a skin-care product, and the campaign, unveiled on Thursday night, revolved around Arbaaz playing Adonis to his wife’s Aphrodite. They used the myth to renew their vows on stage, thus the sham of remarriage.
The following is the transcript of the chat between MM reporter Vickey Lalwani and Arbaaz and Malaika.
Vickey: There are rumours about you and Arbaaz splitting up.
Malaika: I don’t want to clarify anything. I am not going to tell you anything.
Vickey: You are not denying it?
Malaika: I am not going to confirm your rumour. If Arbaaz is getting re-married, then it’ll come out. If this is what you have heard, then you can write that you got through to me and say, ‘Malaika was not very forthcoming and not wanting to comment’.
Vickey: Are you two still together?
Malaika: I won’t tell you…this is too personal.
Vickey: Supposing this rumour is wrong then needlessly your family gets dragged into an unseemly controversy, what’s the point? So tell me if there is anything to this news?
(At this point Vickey tells her that if she does not want to be quoted, she can talk to him off-the-record).
Malaika (relenting): What do you want to know–that Arbaaz is remarrying? Well yes, he is remarrying.
Vickey: Whom?
Malaika: I’m not saying anything. And if you are my well-wisher you will write a positive article and please call me back with whatever you have written. Now I have to go, have to take my child swimming…But you are not quoting me and you will read out to me what you have written.
Vickey (persisting): Has Arbaaz moved out?
Malaika: That you should ask him. Main kya bolu? You are arm-twisting… This is not a small thing. You go and ask at Galaxy (his parents’ house at bandstand); I don’t know where he is.
(Vickey then calls back Malaika again to read out the story that he has written and which was eventually published, she hears it out and doesn’t say anything).
Vickey: But when did all this happen?
Malaika: (evasively) Very recently.

This is just so stupid. She can’t act and all she does is wear less and less clothes. Granted she has a good body, but may be should work on improving her acting rather than going through great lengths to create a drama.
I feel the gossip craving media deserves this! The couple has utilized this opportunity to get back at the media that spare nobody and nothing.

I don’t believe that , this is rubbish , if she wants publicity then that should be the last thig she should of done ,if she wants to be famouse then she should act in movies first , she only does item #’s and can she wear any less clothes ,and that ugly dress that she wore in om shanti om !
this is just SSSOOO stupid and cheap!!! malika is just good body and no acting, she is more of a ahowgirl. there isnt much differece between her and rakhi sawant. malika is only more educated, from a famous household and more stlyish and groomed!!! and arbaz he can never be a goood actor, some people just dont have it in them!!!!
i told u guys it was all publicity … any publicity is a good publicity … even this one … as long as eople speak about u as a celebrity u can always hope of becoming a job, be it adorsements or tv shows…
Its so cheap and hatredworthy, and believe me guys the news comes true, or for any news relating to these two, Arabaz Khan & Maaika Aroa, I think its her idea, that short clothes wearer, we will never have any sympathy with Malaika Aroara, and people say a lot about POOR RAKHI SAWANT infact she is really great that she is outspoken and a bit humorous, and if she is wearing less clothes thats her compulsion because she needs the work to run the life, but not like this one, its just because she is a bit well off family and she can speak ENGLISH as well, so it doesn’t make her in good books, she is like…….?????.
