Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna is back in Mumbai after a two month shooting schedule in Dubai for Abbas-Mastan’s untitled movie, being produced by Tips. The film also features Bobby Deol and newcomer Urvashi Sharma.
Khanna has been well received in the promos of Nikhil Advani’s Salaam-E-Ishq, produced by Mukesh Talreja, Sunil Manchanda and Chetan Motiwalla. In the film, Khanna features along with Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, John Abraham, Govinda, Sohail Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Juhi Chawla, Ayesha Takia, Vidya Balan, Shannon Esrechowitz and Ishaa Koppikar.
“It’s good to be back in Mumbai,” says Khanna, adding, “Nikhil has done an outstanding job with the film. I am quite proud of it.” Salaam-E-Ishq will be Khanna’s first release in 2007. After that, his next release will be Gandhi My Father, which will be followed by two films made by Abbas-Mastan.
