Dhoom 2 is on a record-breaking spree. The cool gadgets, sizzling babes and breath-taking stunts give you the impression that the movie has evolved straight from one of your wildest wet dreams. The movie is doing exceedingly well at all the circuits. Keeping in mind that the movie is yet to release in the multiplexes across the capital, Dhoom 2 is still a phenomenal success all around. The other movie doing good business at most places is Sooraj Barjataya’s Vivah. The movie is at its constant second position just behind Dhoom 2.

The top 5 movies at the box office (mid-week):

• Dhoom 2: Great start at all circuits. Success guaranteed at the weekend as well. Music is dissappointing w.r.t to Pritam’s earlier works. A massive crowd puller. In Mumbai alone, its mid-week collections are 6,59,09,745 avg/print.

• Vivah: Steady business in small and bug towns. Moving up in metros as well. A real family entertainer.

• Apna Sapna Money Money: Amazing Ritesh and good comic timing all around. Again, a hit comic flick. Business dropped a little in some circuits.

• Don: Steady as an average grosser. Not so good at some circuits. May fizz out at many places by the end of the week.

• Umrao Jaan: Again a dissapointment. Slow pace, lengthy and mundane screenplay. Average at some places. Declared flop at most places. To be washed off soon from the ticket counters.

• New release: With Luv… Tumhaara: Bad collections all over. Poor audience appeal. May be taken off from most places within this week or by the next.
