Film and television actor Vaishnavi can’t wait for B R Chopra’s Baabul to release this Friday.
The actor, who plays the role of a young wife, cast opposite Aman Verma, will be a part of Hema Malini’s family in the film. This is Vaishnavi’s comeback to Hindi cinema. The movie is directed by Ravi Chopra and stars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Hema Malini, Rani Mukherjee, John Abraham, Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav and Sarika.
“I had acted in a lot of movies like Roja, Laadla and Bambai Ka Babu and then I shifted to television. Being very busy with serials, I couldn’t give time to films. It’s after a decade that I was signed by Ravi for Baabul. I am making a slow comeback and choosing only the best I can get. I believe in acting in one good venture at one time, rather than having my kitty full with projects that are not so great,” avers Vaishnavi.
Vaishnavi is better known in the television world as the mother of the protagonist Ananya in the Sony serial, Ek Ladki Anjaani Si.
Hey I remember her starring opposite Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, and Atul Agnihorti in BKB. Good to see her back.
