Its official! Gurdip Kohli is hotly tipped to star as the new Bani in ZEE TV’s Ekta Kapoor produced ‘Kasamh Se’ when lead actress Prachi Desai leaves this month.
According to The Times of India, the creative team of the show is trying to work on Gurdeep’s look, role and dates.
Says Gurdeep, “Yes, it’s true. But, I have not signed the contract yet. I am very excited as it’s a great comeback for me. Ekta called me a few days ago and it was the first time that I met her. The creative team has to decide if I will have a new look as Bani. I have left myself completely in their hands.”
Desai is filming her last scenes for the show this week as she prepares for her big movie break alongside Farhan Akhtar in ‘Rock On’.
Earlier this month, it was also revealed that actress Roshni Kapoor was also returning to reprise the role of ‘Pia’.
Kohli was last seen on ZEE TV in ‘Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka’. Since then she appeared on STAR Plus’ ‘Bhabi’ and 9X’s breakfast show.
I dont want this gurdip to do bani role i think prachi is the best and she also sute with it as well but we cant do anything about it so good luck to gurdip to try to do the role like bani best off luck from all the kasam se fans
No one can replace Prachi. Prachi is Bani, and Bani is Prachi. Like Priya, Zigyasha, Ekta will have to get Prachi back for Bani.
But prachi will be back after her shoots on the film rock on so I think it will be nice to see Gurdip coz I loved her a lot on sindoor tere naam ka and she and Bani was and are my favorits
I think it’s a good idea bringing in Gurdip. I agree with “Sigma” - that i did like Gurdip in Sindoor Tere Naam Ka. Gurdip is really pretty and I like the idea she is coming.
