Samar Khan tries well to interpret things in a courtroom with utmost seriousness. However, the loopholes in the script are clearly visible. Also, a diminished quality item number’s inclusion in a serious film like Shaurya is not understandable.
The second is prolonged and includes unedited portions of 20 minutes or so. Likewise, director Samar Khan improvises from his earlier blunder Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye with respect.

The screenplay is a copy and thereby the credit goes to the original. The script has its bits of loose ends. Cinematography is brilliant. Musically, Shaurya has nothing much to offer other than the melodious Dheere Dheere.

Performancewise, actors Kay Kay and Rahul Bose are excellent. Deepak Dobriyal and Minissha Lamba too enact their roles with utmost sincerety. Jaaved Jaffery’s silent glares are brilliantly exhibited.

Amrita Rao plays her small part with natural flair. Seema Biswas is good.

On the whole, a film like Shaurya gains the limelight because of its stars like Kay Kay and Rahul Bose who are known for the powerful acting. Go for dynamic display of courage, friendship and army courtroom brawl.
