Actress Smithaa – a biker ,a sky diver,kayaker,a rower,a swimmer,a rower ,a wine connieuser and an actress with a difference
After working as a Visiting Faculty of the National Institute of Water sports, Goa for Basic white water Kayaking(she was the maharashtra state captain). Little did smita know that she will be on silver screen.. Smithaa was always into adventure Sports, Athletics etc.. a tom boy addressed by her friends always …but to there surprise she is a siren on screen says all now they all tease her even today
She is not like other girls she is different indeed she is a wine connieuser by profession,a kayaker trainer,extremely fond of bikes and riding bikes,a national level swimmer she indulges into Dirt track racing , bikes ,sky diving,sculling,rowing,she is anational judo champion too ….smithaa says they are like stress busters to me ,I like indulging into the sports and films is my dream ” a unique combination that is the reason she is different
Smithaa ’s filmdom journey became the ad commercials she shot for brands like Nivia Cream, pepsodent ,Maaza ,Rema Bulbs, Ricela Cooking oil, Century Plywood, Lokmat- Vacancies for you, Four Star Fish Curries etc
Then happened a Marathi Movie “Mumbaicha Dabewala” directed by Manohar Sarwankar. Which has been very received by the audience she has also shot for a Marathi Movie “Chi. Sou. Ka. Mary Fernandez” directed by Mr. Vinay Laad to be released shortly . and did a cameo in a Marathi Movie “Vasudev Balwant Fadke” produced by Ramesh Dev Production.
Smithaa’s hindi film journey begins with international and English films “the awakening” to be released shortly and a silent film for percept directed by Rahul Kapoor “My Daddy Strongest another film untitled by Ramesh Saini .
Smithaa also has music Video Album to her credit three videos for London based singers including SK1 and Tariq Khan, One Ghazals for Ustad Ahmad Hussein Ustad Mohammad Hussein, One remixes for Dj T-nu and Dj Amit. She also has done Print Advertisement for Mid-Day Your Life, ICICI Bank, Isvarya, Manisha Saree, Various Saree, Salwar Khameez and Jeweler’s Catalogues and Hoardings. To walk the ramp smita was Selected to Model Indian Costumes and Jewelry in the European Marathi Samelan in Rotterdam, Holland. She has also done Varous fashion shows in Surat, Goa, Pune, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, and Banglore..
Now she is pursuing her dream hindi films and has couple of interesting offers watch out for this unique actress…
